Should We Tax The Rich FKs More?

If you make good money you already pay 50% in taxes.

Why should the government get more of your money? So they can line their pockets, give it to their friends or waste it like they do most of the money they get.

Not like the greedy politicians are any better then the greedy corporations. People who make lots of money sacrifice other things like time with family and their own health. Government shouldn't be able to take half of what you make.

Top 10% pay like 70+% of taxes, how is that not enough? It's easy to pick on the rich because there's always more poor people then rich people.

When's the last time you got a job from a poor person?

Nancy Saunders said: No. I'm taxed enough already, and I guess I would fit your description of rich FK.

I make close to 7 figures, but I get taxed 60% of it in income taxes.

I have to pay malpractice as a doctor, etc. etc. I work for money, so why should the government have the right to take close to all of it.

What they should do is decrease the salaries of public servants, decrease welfare spending ('cause I pay for that too) and tell those who don't have jobs to get into the workforce and find something to do, etc.

Oh yeah.  says Larry Phischman, I actually don't think the government should allow super rich people to exist.

We should have a household/family wealth cap of $10 million, after which a person/family's income tax rate goes up to 100%. $10 million is enough for several lifetimes, and allowing people to accumulate more wealth than that slows down the velocity of money, like a blood clot.

The role of wealthy financiers and venture capitalists can be filled by government grants and crowd funding.
